A powerhouse early-game core built around Break and Stun. Her job is to shred enemy Super Armor (the white bar) with fast chains and heavy hits, forcing a long stagger window so the rest of the squad can burst.

Practical tag-in tech: when you swap to Castella as another hero ends an aerial combo, she immediately slams down and chains into follow-up attacks.

Core gap-closer and entry tool—Castella's primary way to close distance and start pressure.

Sustained spinning attack. Pro tip: swap out immediately after casting—Castella stays on field spinning to completion while you control another character for stacked damage.

Battle roar with extremely high armor-break value and a timed defense-reduction debuff on enemies.

Trigger: Activates only when an enemy's Super Armor (white bar) is shattered.

Effect: Delivers massive damage and applies [Stun], locking the target down right after the break.

Trigger: Activates when an enemy is in [Knockdown].

Effect: Bursts damage and launches the target into [Airborne]—an ideal opener for aerial juggle routes.

Greatly extends dash attack range and hit count. While active, grants Super Armor damage reduction and lowers incoming damage—letting Castella face-tank in boss fights.

Armor Break Enhancement: increases Whirlwind spin speed and shield-break efficiency. Defense Ignore: heavy hits ignore 15% enemy defense. Survivability: +15% base defense. Howling Enhancement: widens roar radius and extends defense-down duration.

Alternative pick: the Holy Arbiter Set boosts stun damage and attack power. Strong if you lean into control-heavy play.

Changes Howling to a hold-to-activate input, extending skill duration. On late-game bosses with relentless attack patterns, holding can get interrupted—time it carefully.

Tag in with Lute or another opener, swap to Castella for Howling to debuff enemy defense, then immediately follow with Whirlwind.

Start Whirlwind and instantly swap back to your main DPS (e.g. Alex or Roxy). Castella's lingering spin handles wide-area break and mob gathering while you DPS.

Once the boss white bar disappears, watch for the Signal prompt and fire Stun Blow, then chain Upper Blow to send the boss airborne.
