Master Skill Unlock Guide

Core Material: Forbidden Grimoire

Acquisition

  • Obtained by opening Legendary Chests.
  • Treasure Map system: Use a treasure map from your inventory to reveal a treasure icon on the world map — travel to that location and dig to receive Master Skill upgrade cards.

Hunts Progression & Resources

  • Base Material: Dragon Scales — used for low-level skill strengthening.
  • Bottleneck Material: Scrolls. During upgrades you will find low-tier scrolls extremely scarce.
  • Scroll Tiers: Green (Low) → Blue (Mid) → Purple (High)
  • Difficulty Note: Hard and Extreme difficulty tiers drop higher-grade scrolls and more boss-exclusive materials.

Advanced Tips

  • Difficulty spike: A sharp jump appears around the Steelheart Fortress stage — revisit Hunt tasks to catch up on skill levels before pushing forward.
  • Co-op HP scaling: Boss HP does not scale much in co-op, so duo teams are far more efficient than solo.
  • Match restriction: Once a boss is selected in a room, you cannot swap to another boss in the same lobby without disbanding and re-forming.
  • Retry: Solo runs can retry immediately after defeat; co-op currently has no direct retry — return to the lobby and reload.
  • Level cap: Top-end Nightmare difficulty shown at Lv. 90 drops the highest-tier currency and medals.
  • Priority: Upgrade right-side Active skills to Lv. 10 first; unlock Master Skills selectively after securing strong heroes.
